Community Service
1. Members of the club have joined with the Pickaway Co. Recycling and litter prevention. We have adopted three miles of road in northern Pickaway Co. And for the last ten years about four times a year we pick up litter along this road and turn in twenty or so bags in for recycling.
2. For a number of years Hilltop Sportsman Club Inc. Have sponsored a local community baseball team for the youth.
3. Hilltop Sportsman Club Inc. And the Ohio Department Of Natural Resources are partners in the ADOPT-A-WATERWAY program. The club cleans portions of the Big Darby Creek, sometimes gathering over fifty abandoned tires plus eight to ten canoes full of litter.
4. Often the Hilltop Sportsman’s Club Inc. Work with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to put on Hunter Safety courses. This is a requirement for first time purchasers of a valid hunting license.
5. Contributes to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
6. Sponsors a Junior Rifle Shoot for the youngsters of our community.
7. Local Troop Camping for the Boy Scouts of America.
